You do not need an account to use this site. We do not ask for your name, email address, postal address, or payment details, and there is no newsletter signup.
Practice data stays on your device
Simulator scores, drill timings, checklist ticks, and saved presale plans are written to your browser's localStorage under keys beginning with tm-sim-. That data is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. It is removed when you clear your browser data for this site.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp — in order to deliver pages and block abuse. These logs are retained for a short operational window and are not used to build advertising profiles or to identify individual visitors.
What the simulated checkout does
The checkout drill is a fake form. Anything typed into it is validated in the browser for practice feedback and then discarded. It is never posted to a server, stored, or shared.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files a site asks your browser to store. We also use localStorage, which works in a similar way but stays on your device. Cookies on this site fall into three groups, and the last two only run after you accept them.
1. Strictly necessary
A single localStorage entry named tm-sim-consent records whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies so we do not ask you again on every page. It contains no identifier and is never sent anywhere.
2. Analytics cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish sessions and measure which pages are read. We also run a self-hosted, cookieless analytics endpoint that records aggregate page views without storing anything on your device or profiling you across sites.
3. Advertising cookies
This site is supported by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
These advertising cookies may be set from domains including google.com, doubleclick.net, googlesyndication.com, and googleadservices.com, as well as from the domains of advertising partners. They are used for ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement, and — only where you have consented — personalisation.

How to control cookies
Rejecting non-essential cookies does not remove advertising. It means the ads you see are non-personalised, chosen from page context rather than a profile of your browsing.
Consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland
If you are in a region that requires it, non-essential cookies stay switched off until you actively opt in. We implement this with Google Consent Mode v2: advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalisation, and analytics storage all default to denied, and are only switched to granted after you choose "Accept all" in the banner.
Choosing "Reject non-essential" leaves those signals denied. Google then receives cookieless, aggregated signals only, and no advertising identifier is stored on your device. You can revisit the banner at any time through cookie settings.

Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy. We list them here so you can review them directly.
We do not pass personal information — names, email addresses, or any identifier you have given us — to Google or to any advertising partner. This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Data Retention and Your Rights
How long things are kept
Google Analytics user-level data is retained for 14 months under this property's configuration, then aggregated. Advertising partners retain data according to their own retention schedules. Practice data in your browser stays until you delete it. Server logs are kept for a short operational window only.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because we hold no account data and no contact list, in practice the personal data associated with this site is limited to analytics and advertising identifiers held by the providers listed above, which are governed by their own request processes. You can also ask us directly and we will help where we are able.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the consent-gated Google advertising described above. Where local law grants a right to opt out of sale or sharing, the cookie settings control and the provider opt-outs above exercise it.

Changes to This Policy
When this policy changes materially — for example if we add an advertising partner — the date at the top of this page is updated and, where the change affects consent, the banner is shown again. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
